Barack Obama is a stultifying moron and more!
Click on the link above to read how Barack Obama, the darling of the liberal democrat set, plans to end the war in Iraq. Troop reduction. Better training for the Iraqis. Conditions that must be met by the Iraqis. Political solutions. His ideas? Can you say Deja Vu?
Not only are his ideas simplistic and redundant, they rest on dopey assumptions and promote solutions which wouldn't have been necessary had GWB's loudmouth liberal detractors just shut up and let the President do his job.
So we're stuck with preachy, naive Barack Obama telling the President how to win a war. And yet, the very first sentence of his incredibly redundant press release tells us all we need to know about the substance of his ideas. It refers to the brilliant work of the US troops in Iraq. But if the war is such a catastrophe, what could he be referring to?
Are the US troops brilliant at chess? Has the 101st Battalion cured cancer? And didn't John Kerry just remind us that only morons who can't hack high school are in Iraq?
So how does Barack Obama explain how the troops are brilliant when he and his ilk won't stop bellyaching that the US military incursion in Iraq is the most horrible thing to land in the Middle East since voting rights? He doesn't bother.
Instead, Obama approved his press flack's draft without a hint of recognition that this patronizing piffle is ironic at best, cynical at worst. And at worst worst, a complete joke.
Obama is clearly true to form, or at least to his party. Democrats have a historical tendency to obfuscate reality and toss complaints about the work of others without ever formulating workable solutions of their own. This is consistent for the last 30 years and if Barack Obama is the choice of fickle, guilt-ridden, star-struck Democrats, the trend will continue.
Now, I don't mean to knock Obama. You don't kick a dead dog and I hardly think fancy pants has a chance. It's his party that pisses me off. They're no dead dog. They're in power and well poised to screw up quite a bit in this country and beyond.
What imediately comes to mind is the suspiciously recent blanket coverage of Global Warming. They say Earth is in crisis. I say the sudden ubiquity of Global Warming hysteria is entirely due to the Democrats taking control of the House with no agenda past pointing at GWB and saying, "I told you so."
Global Warming may be significant. But it is hardly the pivotal crisis of our generation. I doubt it's pivotal to the next generation or the next.
Rather, the Global Warming hysteria is a convenient topic that shifts attention from the UN's inexcusable failure in Darfur and general spinlessness pertaining to Iran, the Democrat's wimpy, pessimistic, surrenderistic perception of the war on terror, and the unspoken realization that arbitrarily pulling troops out of Iraq will solve no one's problems — least of all our own.
So the Democrats, their pathetic apologists and cynical spinmeisters are snowing the nation, possibly the world. Their agenda is to be in power. Now that they are, they fear the people they purport to be smarter than will realize they are completely devoid of substance, vision, optimism, or any true idea of what they could do to benefit this nation.
So they tie everyone in knots over a sophistic smokescreen we now know as Global Warming.
Which brings me back to my original point: Barack Obama is a vapid talking head. But at least among his peers and supporters, he's right at home.

Since there is no arguing with anyone capable of expressing the vapidity as this commentor, at least allow me to edit his or her comment so it can at least be understood in English. It's OK, really. No need to thank me:
Dude. You're an idiot. Why not talk about something more interesting, such as how sad your life is, or something else. [Being that you are a] hypocrite, you probably can't think of anything better to do in Iraq. If you could, then please share tell us your idea.

just so you can see the topic from a neutral view..
barak obama praised the troops for how well they are doing their job does not mean he wants them to stay there ! Im sure no american soilder would prefer to stay in iraq and risk their life rather than live in america with their friends and family.
Given the task the american soliders are given, they are doing a good job.... thats what obama is praising...
understand the difference?

""Our troops have performed brilliantly in Iraq, but no amount of American soldiers can solve the political differences at the heart of somebody else's civil war," Obama said. "That's why I have introduced a plan to not only stop the escalation of this war, but begin a phased redeployment that can pressure the Iraqis to finally reach a political settlement and reduce the violence."
You may still disagree with me when you finish reading this, but Here's what I believe:
No one in their right mind WANTS the troops to stay in Iraq for the sake of being there. The same way no one in their right mind WANTS Islamic sociapaths terrorizing society.
But if it took routing Iraq and maintaining our presence in Iraq until it is made abundantly clear that the US will pulverize any entity that even looks at us with evil intent, then so be it.
Now, I have a hard time saying my piece when I am not in the armed forces and not in our soldiers' boot. But I have no problem saying that I sleep better at night knowing they're there. That, in and of itself, is cause for them to be there now, and cause for them to remain until an absolutely safe, and lasting environment is created for them to leave.
Anything short of that eventuality undermines the whole effort, and demeans the sacrifices of our fallen soldiers and their families.
My issue with Barak Obama's position is that he is pushing for an irresponsible withdrawal, which will do little solidify the interests of the United States, which, by the way, though some refuse to admit it, are the interests of global peace, the rights of all humanity, and the freedom of every society.
Barak Obama charitable estimation of our troops' abilities does little to mollify the fact that his simplistic world-view, if implemented, will put them, and us, into harm's way.

To anyone who still believes we aid Iraq for the pursuit of the freedoms of others, and peace. This is a grave misconception, and I hope you reconsider believing such childhood fairytales of good and evil as in this world those lines have been skewed many times. Without evil there would be no weaponry and without the sales of weaponry a large portion of the US economy would crumble, if not the US economy than the pockets of the US citizens that invest in such markets.
Also, I am terribly sorry but the reasons for invading Iraq are not to bring an end to terrorism as extremists in that area of the world may exist but only seek control over that land which was theirs' originally. The organizations that have caused this country so much pain are not being sought and will not be found because their leaders are among the rich that cooperate for the gain of money. I could continue forever but by now you must all believe I am incorrect and anti-american. Feel safer while the young die if you'd like but to bring them home to their lives is the smartest decision to make.

Yanushik,
Please go back to your cave. Your view of the world is of a sad individual who views man as evil both individually and as a group. Just like there is evil in the world (Hitler, Pol Pot, Stalin, etc.) there is also good. It is not for me to preach to you that good will prevail...but it will.
Your perverted view of mankind is no-doubt built on your life's experience. I am sorry you have been so twisted. Perhaps you might someday live in America and meet real Americans rather than whomever you have been forced to exist with...

if all soilders were at home with their families, i guess we wouldn't need soilders now would we? in fact, we wouldn't even need a military! you know what, after we pull our army out of the most precious unstable part of the world, why don't we just eliminate our defense alltogether? after that we could eliminate taxes too, yet somehow continue the same quality of life. how about a communized healthcare plan? that works. anything to lower taxes. by the way, bringing soilders home to their families isn't the smartest decision, it's the nicest. you dont decide to become a soilder and then act surprised when your not at home with your family. sacrifice does not come without sacrifice. and unfortunately, at a time when all the power in the world is being left to twisted suicidal homicidal groups of terror, that time has come.

I seem to agree with stillwonderin'
Obama for what its worth, comes off as a confused child who is grasping at the nearest straw that can land him in the white house. As for yanushik, one more moron can't possibly hurt in the big scheme of things. The land was not theres originally; for that you would have to gove back thousands of years to summerians, cannanites, hittites, etc, and you can add to that almost 4000 years of the jewish nation being there. I suppose Ill end with this...If a deranged rat decided to take over your basement it would not be a claim to ownership regardless of how many times it would send its "precious youth" to commit terrorist attacks.

Prediction for 2029: If Obama is elected, history will exonerate “W” and prove Obama to be either the biggest moron to ever bare the mantle of Presidential power or show him to be the biggest liar to have ever drawn breath. This will be incredibly evident when in three years we still have troops in Iraq or Iraq is renamed “The Greater Extended Territories of Iran”.
If Obama is elected and I am wrong, it will mean that he used his “Jedi-Mind tricks” on his faithful (a.k.a. the brain dead masses that chant “change” without an understanding of what “change” could mean) to make all of them think he never made the promises he's spewed.

Yanushik,
Love the way you forget to make the country into a proper noun (Capital "A" in America). Could be a typo - or maybe a tell-tale sign of where your heart lies?
